Celebrate in your neighborhood or join Celina PD on the Square
Help the Celina Police Department promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. This FREE event is a great way to get to know your neighbors and send a message to would-be criminals that your neighborhood is well-organized and protected. Various neighborhoods will be hosting a neighborhood block party for National Night Out. In addition, feel free to join us in Downtown Celina's block party on the Square!
NNO Community Partners
Dear Community Partner:
Each year, neighborhoods across Celina gather on the first Tuesday in October to celebrate National Night Out.
NNO is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states across the US. Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency services personnel, exhibits, and much, much more.
The Celina community has been receptive to National Night Out for several decades and it continues to grow along with the expanded population in our city. With every new neighborhood, another community gathers to celebrate the positive relationship with our law enforcement community and to get to know their neighbors.
In order to continue growing this worthwhile event and bringing our community together, we rely on the donations and sponsorships of community partners like you.
This year, the Celina Police Department has partnered with their official charity, the Celina Community Police Foundation, to grow the funding for this year’s National Night Out. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity organization that is dedicated to enhancing our community programs such as National Night Out. To support this year’s event and help bring our community together, there are several ways to make your donation:
